The purpose of Tech City Aarhus is to support, evolve and make the tech environment of Aarhus visible through knowledge sharing and networking. Tech City Aarhus will do this by tapping into the existing and former initiatives, while also collecting and coordinating the contributions for them to strengthen the tech environment, the private-public cooperation and the cooperation across the local business environment.

It-vest is an educational network between the three universities in the Western part of Denmark: University of Southern Denmark, Aalborg University and Aarhus University. The purpose of It-vest is to strengthen education and research within ICT in Denmark. The three universities offer af variety of different ICT education programmes and are altogether educating half of all ICT graduates in Denmark.
One of It-vest’s activities is the Master of IT – a part-time programme for professionals working with ICT. Master of IT is very flexible, and the participants can create their own programme at their own pace, choosing from a number of courses. The Master in IT offers, among other things, competences within software development, Software Architecture, IT Security, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Business Organisation, Information security and Leadership. It-vest coordinates the education programmes across the three networking universities. Continuously about 250 ICT professionals are attending the education.
